Ryan Companies US, in partnership with Exalt Health, today announced plans to develop a new state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facility in Riverview, Florida. The 40,000-square-foot facility will offer 40 beds and provide intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services to patients with complex medical conditions. Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the facility scheduled to open in early 2027.
Located adjacent to the 223-bed BayCare St. Joseph’s South Hospital, the facility will expand access to critical post-acute care in one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities. Ryan identified and secured the site, led the rezoning process and formed a joint venture with Exalt Health to own the facility. Ryan will also serve as the developer, general contractor and property manager. The project team includes E4H Architecture as the architect and Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer.
“This new facility will enable us to extend our patient-centered care to more individuals in need of rehabilitation services, helping them recover and regain their independence,” said Jeff Crawford, chief development officer and chief operations officer at Exalt Health. “Exalt Health is excited to bring our expertise in rehabilitation care to the Riverview community.”
